Steve & Sharon Smith (world missions): ssmith@globalmessenger.org

Steve and Sharon have dedicated their lives to helping the hurting people around the world. We do Leadership training in the nations of Vietnam, Cuba, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Nicaragua. We have printed thousands of books as tools to put into the hands of the indigenous leaders. We believe if we can help train and raise up qualified leaders, the nation can turn around. In addition, we feed, educate, clothe, and medicate children in Brazil and Indonesia. We continue to return to nations we have been to before for the purpose of building long lasting relationships. Because of this, we have been able to make remarkable strides in these nations. To lift and to love one more person is what life is all about.

George & Vali Michailov (Bulgaria): view PDF

George and Vali Michailov were married in 1984 and began their ministry as pastors in 1988. The Lord has blessed them with two children, Emmanuela who is 22, and Benjamin who is 2. They currently reside in the city of Lovech where the Lord called them in 1991.

Christ's Evangelical Church, "Shalom" was born in the hearts of George and Vali in 1991 as they moved to Lovech and the Lord gave them a vision, "To know Christ more and to make Him known to others." Together with the vision the Lord also gave them a strategy through His words in Matthew 4:23 and Matthew 9:35 which declare: "Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people." These verses gave three foundational directions for the ministry of the church as it continues today: teaching, evangelizing, and healing (mercy ministry).
